Summer school

Your support allows the Central Mexico Youth Fund to help the beneficiaries of El Puente de Esperanza offer a summer school program (curso de verano in Spanish) to children in a rural community. We provide funds to pay for transportation, classroom materials and meals. The local community offers housing and a facility at no cost.

In July 2019, the event took place in Los Trigos, a town located in Querétaro State.  There were 60 local elementary school students who participated in science, robotics, ecology, dance and chess classes, while the youngest kids enjoyed kindergarten instruction.  One of the El Puente beneficiaries who is completing her residency in dentistry cleaned the teeth of the participants!  We've attached some photos of the event.
